A Life of Simple Abundance has many facets. I want to ponder one area at a time. Current focus: Clothing.

What are the reasons involved in my choice of the clothes I wear? What do I want?

1. To be warm, comfortable.
2. To be modest, appropriate.
3. To take pleasure in color and texture.
4. To project on my outside who I am on my inside. Style.

When I think about a life of simple abundance in regard to clothes I am thinking of

•  A wardrobe plan,
• An organized closet,
• The 'look' accurately reflecting who I am.
• The budget would be wisely spent.
• Not having to spend time thinking about my clothes.
• The simplicity of stepping up to the closet, to quickly get dressed and on with my day.
• Everything would fit appropriately and look good on me.
• I would be pleased with what I wear.

Whew! Seems like a tall order. The plan is key here. The simplicity that is desired is the simplicity that comes after complexity.  Meaning, I need to plan out my wardrobe, pondering the details so that I can have a simple, easy to work with outcome. Once the major plan work is done, the mastery over wardrobe begins to appear and simplicity is begining to be achieved.
